Science may not recognize that prayers can effect change outside of the one praying. So, Jane may pray for healing and prosperity for Gabriel but it wont have effect on Gabriel. BUT science recognizes that it will have good effects on Jane, the one praying. Some call this the power of benevolence, some call it the Law of Attraction.
